- Small Black-on-white Pot
Cultural Period: Ancestral Puebloan Description: This little black-on-white pot was found in a California Goodwill store with a World War I-era newspaper article inside. Navajo National Monument thanked Lance Aguiar directly in their response letter, saying: "This is a great example of the public playing an important role in cultural resource preservation efforts... that protect our national heritage," and in a separate letter to Mr. Aguiar: "We sincerely thank you for your thoughtfulness and effort in returning the pot to its place of origin."
