Description: Fine-grained basalt Pinto Basin point made on an edge-retouched flake. The point has a slightly contracting stem, a basal notch, and random flaking pattern. Description: A Type 3 Pinto Point made from a mottled pink and red fossil sponge. The point appears to have been reworked to remove two serrations from one edge, possible in an effort to salvage the point after damage to the tip end. Dimensions: 2.9 x 1.82 x 0.61 cm.
