Cultural Period: Ancestral Puebloan, Atsinna Pueblo (A.D. 1275 – mid-1300s) Description: Tubular black stone (steatite) bead from Atsinna Pueblo. The bead was biconically perforated, smoothed, and ground on the ends. Dimensions: L 1.6, DIAM 0.9 CM. Provenience: LA 99 (Atsinna Pueblo), Room 20, Floor & 1 Foot above. Cultural Period: Ancestral Puebloan (Wupatki Pueblo, A.D. 1130 – A.D. 1260) Description: Small nose plug carved from steatite. The plug came from the surface of Wupatki Pueblo, and it is speculated that it may have been a child's because of the small size. Dimensions: 1.9 (L) x 0.85 (W) cm ( 0.75 (L) x 0.33 (W) in).
