Cultural Period: Ancestral Puebloan Description: Bone comb with nine teeth carved into one end and a tapering point at the other. This comb, found in a room in Wupatki Pueblo, may have been used in weaving. Dimensions: 19.5 (L) x 3.3 (W) cm (7.68 x 1.30 in). Cultural Period: Ancestral Puebloan, Atsinna Pueblo (A.D. 1275 – mid-1300s) Description: Long bone head (possibly turkey), scored and cut to remove the shaft; from Atsinna Pueblo. Found along with another worked bone with the same description. Provenience: LA 99 (Atsinna Pueblo), RM 5, FILL AGAINST W WALL, 1 M BELOW SURFACE.
