Cultural Period: Ancestral Puebloan, Atsinna Pueblo (A.D. 1275 – mid-1300s) Description: Deer rib section used as a scraper. One end angle is cut for 4.5 cm, the tip is broken, and the rib cracked (the cotton string serves to hold the bone together). Fine striae are present perpendicular to the edge. Cultural Period: Ancestral Puebloan, Atsinna Pueblo (A.D. 1275 – mid-1300s) Description: Scapula “knife” with the spine ground away and the blade edges modified. One edge is thin and convex, and the other outcurving. Striae parallel both working edges, which are polished from use. Both ends of the tool are broken.
