Cultural Period: Ancestral Puebloan, Atsinna Pueblo (A.D. 1275 – mid-1300s) Description: Small grooved stone with rounded ends described in the artifact catalog as a possible weight or “ceremonial maul.” The groove follows a natural inconsistency in the rock. Dimensions: L 4.5, DIAM 2.9-2.6 CM. Provenience: LA 99 (Atsinna Pueblo), RM 14, FLOOR. Collection: National Park Service, El Morro.
