Cultural Period: Ancestral Puebloan, Atsinna Pueblo (A.D. 1275 – mid-1300s) Description: White and tan mottled chert or chalcedony projectile point fragment with a broken stem; contains deep corner- to side-notches, straight to slightly concave margins, and fine pressure flaking, with possible slight serration. Found near antler fragments. Dimensions: L 4.2, W 2.4, T 0.4 CM. Provenience: LA 99 (Atsinna Pueblo), RM 11, SE Area, upper fill. Cultural Period: Ancestral Puebloan, Atsinna Pueblo (A.D. 1275 – mid-1300s) Description: Black fine-grained volcanic, corner-notched with an expanding base with reddish soil or ochre stains; stylistically similar to San Pedro and Basketmaker projectile point types, per Ashlee Bailey, Northern Arizona University graduate student in Anthropology. Cultural Period: Ancestral Puebloan, Atsinna Pueblo (A.D. 1275 – mid-1300s) Description: Corner-notched projectile point made on a tan chert with reddish soil or ochre stains; one tang appears broken and the base on the same side appears fractured. According to Ashlee Bailey, Northern Arizona University graduate student in Anthropology, this point resembles Late Archaic, Elko, Basketmaker, and Early Agricultural projectile point forms. Cultural Period: Archaic Description: White/pink/orange chalcedony projectile point, Archaic in age, and identified as San Pedro/Elko Corner-notch. The tip has been repaired with glue.
