Description: Galloway-style Cataract boat used on the Stone expedition. Built of white oak and Michigan pine, with two compartments each in the fore and aft. Bottom covered in with a thin iron sheet. Dimensions: 16.5' L, 4' W at the gunwales, 18" deep, with a 10" rake fore and aft from the center. Dry, the boat weighed 243 lbs. Collection: Grand Canyon National Park (Catalog No. GRCA 13673).
