Description: Self-threaded yucca needle from Wupatki Pueblo. Self-threaded needles were made by leaving the sharp point of the yucca leaf attached to the processed fibers from the larger, fleshier part of the leaf below.

Dimensions: 4.0 cm (L) x 0.2 cm (W) (1.57 x 0.08 in).

Collection: On display at Wupatki National Monument (catalog card).
