Cultural Period: Ancestral Puebloan and Hohokam

Description: Thirteen strands of cotton yarn dyed blue, black, and various shades of brown. Represented types include single, double, and multiple twists. All strands are from Wupatki Pueblo. The cotton may have been traded up from the Hohokam in the south, either as bulk material or as processed yarn.

Dimensions: Avg. 9 cm long x 0.2 cm diam. (3.54 x .08 in).
