Cultural Period: Ancestral Puebloan, Atsinna Pueblo (A.D. 1275 – mid-1300s)

Description: Side-notched projectile point missing one corner of the base; the lithic material is tan and red, possibly petrified wood. According to Ashlee Bailey, Northern Arizona University graduate student in Anthropology, this point may be a San Pedro or Basketmaker point.

Dimensions: L 4.5, W 2.0 CM.

Provenience: LA 99 (Atsinna Pueblo), RM 6, probably from the backfill.

Collection: National Park Service, El Morro.
