Recycled Mano Fragment (?)
Cultural Period: Ancestral Puebloan, Atsinna Pueblo (A.D. 1275 – mid-1300s)
Description: Flat-surfaced stone artifact described as a “polishing stone” in the artifact catalog. The artifact is bifacial with a triangular cross-section and smooth surfaces, and is possibly a recycled mano fragment. The surface visible also bears numerous scratches, perhaps from use as an abrading stone.
Dimensions: L 7.5, W 7.0, T 3.7 CM.
Provenience: LA 99 (Atsinna Pueblo), ROOM 15, FLOOR.
