Cultural Period: Navajo Description: Modeled clay figurines made by Clyde Peshlakai, a prominent Navajo resident of the Wupatki National Monument area, c. 1938. The sheep on the left was fired by Dr. Colton. The steer in the center bears a yarn tail and was never fired. Likewise, the horse was never fired and bears a yarn tail not visible in this image.
