Navajo National Monument, established in 1909, preserves three intact cliff dwellings of the Ancestral Puebloan people, as well as numerous smaller sites from a range of cultural and chronological contexts.

The American Southwest Virtual Museum hosts an artifact exhibit, photographs of major archaeological sites, and images related to Navajo life in Navajo National Monument.
